This blog is being made as part of an accredited education programme - MA Photography with Falmouth University.
I will be documenting my study as Critical Review Journal (CRJ)
I am a Kent based photographer and I have been taking photographs most of my life, but only really took an interest in photography when I started college in 2001. There my love grew, with a passion for film and darkroom photography.
Photography has become a loved hobby of mine over the years, alongside my career in education.
My style is primarily wildlife and the details within, and has moved away from film to digital over the years.
My photographs are taken using either my DSLR camera or my smartphone, with only limited editing in Photoshop and Snapseed. In recent months I have begun to experiment with analogue photography again, shooting with 120 roll film and 35mm. All my photographs are taken to date are in my home county of Kent, or where I have visited Devon and Cornwall.
I will be documenting my exploration of my practice over the course of my MA in Photography and that of my Research Project.
