Drawn to The Sea

The start of a new module, sees me focusing on my relationship ad connections to the sea. I wanted to continue exploring my connections with nature, and towards the end of the previous module, I found myself drawn to the coastline to create work.
Following my instincts has always been something I take seriously, so I decided that this module I would focus on the coast and my connection to it, why I ma drawn to it, how it inspires me creatively and helps me relax.
I aim to capture what the sea means to others within this project as well, and I have reached out to friends, but I wanted to push myself and connect with people I don't know, something that does not come naturally to me. I have always worked alone in some form, so to challenge myself to explore the collaborative side of the module, I contacted Tony Child from Thanet Coastal Project and enquired about how my work could be of interest to the charity/project in some form. This has lead to conversations between myself and a few wardens/volunteers for the project who have shared their stories with me. Once those that are interest have sent their stories, I can start to gather this research to develop my work in progress.
