Well, I have been away from my CRJ, unintentionally, for some time. This was due to my workload and personal work circumstances through the module. As life returned to normal after lockdowns and myself returning to work onsite, my time was spent working on my project and research, resulting in my CRJ becoming further down the list of priorities.

Now the module has finished and assignments have been submitted, I am able to reflect on the process and journey throughout.

The opportunity to experiment with alternative image making processes, was an exciting and challenging time. From my use of acetate and tracing paper overlays, I was able to create work which had a different appearance to my previous work in progress, whilst continuing with my themes of identity and connections to nature.

By also using methods with water and ink, I was able to create abstract images that i felt represented the subconscious that we experience while in nature.
