View From My Window 21/09/20
One of the first things we have been asked to do in our first week is to take a photo of the view from our window where ever that may be.

This is the view of a telegraph pole directly outside my bedroom window. My thoughts immediately turned to my experience during Lockdown when I saw the discussion title and how during that time, this view became my moment of rest and peace while, like so many others, adapted to working from home. Looking out of my window became a routine and something I relied to keep my focused and relaxed while working.
I live on quite a busy residential road and I find myself looking down on the street below often, but the first thing I tend to do is look up. I do this instinctively and each day my view is disturbed by the telegraph wires that reach across the sky. This frustrated me at first, but as the years go on I look past it and now I think how strange my view would look if this telegraph pole was removed. This morning, I saw how the wires divided up my view finder, and mimicked something similar to a spiders web, blocking my view to the blue sky behind and leaving the viewer unsure where they lead once they leave the frame.
