Inspired by Ed Ruscha's book 'Records' and my own memories of music growing up, prompted by a friend asking for a playlist of my musical choices.
I wanted to keep the book small, I created it using a no sew style with A4 paper and non-toxic Pritt glue. The images are printed on Matte paper and were shot using a 1:1 ratio on my smartphone.
I chose 6 vinyl singles that sum up my childhood musical influences, these were; Kate Bush 'Running Up That Hill', OMD 'Enola Gay', David Bowie 'Golden Years', Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams are Made of These', David Bowie 'Absolute Beginners' and OMD 'Souvenir'.
